ILT2400 Optical Meter

The ILT2400 is the most advancedhandheld light meter and optometeron the market today. ILT’s Accuspan software automatically sets the averaging while rapidly measuring over 8 decades of light intensities. The internal software allows customers to capture a peak as brief as 100μS and to store up to 16 readings per second. The colour display works in both landscape and portrait modes. The ILT2400 supports numerous light measurement applications, including Audience Scanning Laser Safety, General Purpose Light Measurements, Research, Sterilization/UVGI, Solar, Photoresist – lithography, Optical Radiation Hazard, Phototherapy, Photo-Degradation, PPF & PPFD Plant Studies, and more. ILT2400 optical measurement systems include an ILT2400, carrying case, software and customer-configured detector/filter/optic and calibration. ILT2400 optical measurement systems allow direct reading in the appropriate empirical units, including; lux, foot-candles, candela, lumens, watts, W/cm2, cd/m2, foot-lamberts, nits, etc. The ILT2400 and software are compatible with most Windows 7 and Windows 8 computers.

Safety Scan Lens

Laser safety is important, and as a professional laserist, you should be careful when projecting laser beams into an audience. This is why we developed the Safety Scan Lens. Our patented Safety Scan Lenses were designed to help make your shows safer while simultaneously allowing your shows to maintain a high level of visual impact. The Safety Scan Lens is a half lens, which will increase the divergence of the laser beam as it is projected downward into audience areas. Because it is a half lens, laser beams are not affected when they are projected overhead. Thus, the end result is that you can create a stunning laser light show and keep the beams which project on the audience at an enjoyable and safe level. Six different diopter lenses are available (-1 to -6). Please note that the Safety Scan Lens bracket is not included and must be purchased separately. *US Patent numbers 8,506,087 and 8,681,828

Safety Scan Lens Bracket

Our Safety Scan lens bracket allows you to fit and horizontally adjust the Pangolin Safety Scan Lens onto the primary aperture of the Unity Elite laser display projector. When the lens is installed correctly, it increases the divergence of the laser beam when scanning downward into the audience. It allows you to create a stunning laser show and keep the beams that are projected into the audience at safer levels while not affecting the overhead beams at all. Please note the Safety Scan Lens is not included with the bracket.

Safety Scan Lens set

These precision-manufactured lenses allow users to increase laser brightness on effects used to scan audiences without increasing potentially harmful exposure levels. They increase the beam divergence by a set amount, providing a very effective means of keeping effects below the exposure safety limits (MPE). They are designed to be mounted at the laser projector’s scanner output, acting on beams that travel below the horizon and softening the power density of these beams. Six different strengths of the lens are available, allowing the divergence of the beams used in the audience scanning effects to be adjusted as necessary by the environment. At a short projection distance, such as in nightclubs, it will likely require one of the thicker lenses (-4 to -6) to increase the divergence on the lower audience scanning beams. In larger venues, when scanning over greater distances, one of the lesser strength lenses (-1 to -3) will most likely be suitable.
